Founder of the network organisation Academic Vision, Alies is a committed and passionate coach, trainer, mediator and consultant with more than 20 years of experience in higher education.

Because of her expertise in the field of leadership, education and organisation, she is often hired to coach directors and managers in their personal and leadership developments. She also coaches management teams on for example vision-and team days that strengthen connectedness and clarify the future.

Besides this, Alies has developed various university leadership and qualification programmes such as BKO, SKO, AIO, mentor and introductory programmes for new teaching professionals.  Always room for one’s wishes and needs with a clear objective in mind.

She is driven by the fact that she is able to coach universities, colleges and schools in creating environments focused on one’s growth and development where an engaged and effective collaboration is possible.

Alies has two Master’s Degrees, one of which is Strategic Management in Education and Training and is also the director of the Dutch Leadership Academy.
